Dr. Elizabeth Ann Phalen MD age 76, passed away into eternal life on February 27,  the day after Ash Wednesday at Wake Medical Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was especially happy to provide medical care to servicemen and women, veterans and their families, and made several trips to the Philippines to treat the poor. May she rest in peace.  She was a  resident in Clayton, North Carolina. Funeral services for Dr. Phalen will be Saturday, March  7 at Saint Ann's Catholic Church  4057 Highway 70 East Clayton, North Carolina. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm- 2:00 pm. Mass will begin at 2:00 pm, interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park Clayton, North Carolina.
